It has been running well on my PC for many years, until Outlook started 'playing up' recently. After trying to fix the issue several time, I mistakingly uninstalled all of the Office suite. I still have the original installation disc so reinstalled it. I went to the HUP email I had thinking the activation code was there , but it wasn't the email is somehow screwed up and the link in there goes to an unknown location.

David, Office is the last version you can "extract" the product key from the computer. Use one of the following tools. Then you can go to the HUP website to get the installation file. You can use any of the following tools to extract the Product Key from you computer.

These tools report on many installed programs on your computer, not just Office. The underlying mechanics of Windows 8 are essentially the same as Windows 7 if you ignore the Metro User Interface. The pig is not changed by adding a little paint on the surface.

You can now only extract the last 5 char of the key, enough to match to the real product key you have recorded elsewhere. DAT to store encrypted product activation keys.
